28 Nov Together We Made Things Happen in 2018
With only a few weeks remaining in healthcare insurance open enrollment and only a few more beyond that to the Christmas and New Year holidays, we wanted to take a few minutes to reflect on the past year.
For starters, we want to express our sincere appreciation for you and our relationship. It is an honor and a privilege that you have trusted us to help you! The people we serve at Creative Insurance Solutions are the reasons we do what we do. There’s no doubting the fact that health insurance is a complicated and often frightening subject. The times we need it are often filled with uncertainty and chaos, and that’s why it’s important to us to help you be prepared with the right plan before you need to actually use that plan.
At Creative Insurance Solutions, we gain personal satisfaction knowing we have helped people find affordable options that will deliver great care when it’s needed. So thank you for allowing us to help you as you make these important decisions for you and your family. It’s been another great year.
What else did we learn in 2018? A lot, actually.
WE TALKED ABOUT TRAVEL INSURANCE.
One of the things we talked about was travel insurance. Even though vacations are some of the most enjoyable times of our lives, the reasons we work so hard and save up, they are not void of healthcare situations. Travel insurance can help us in case we need care overseas. It can help with lost or stolen baggage. In many cases, it can even help you get your money back in case you have to cancel your trip.
WE DISCOVERED A NEW PARTNER.
For employers, finding and retaining great employees is becoming more and more difficult. We recognized this trend with our clients and decided to partner with OneDigital. OneDigital is an employee benefits company and HR solutions provider that can help businesses make employment more enticing with a dynamic portfolio of benefits.
WE SAW CHANGES IN SHORT TERM PLANS.
It’s not too late to enroll in a short term plan, which can now be extended up to three years as opposed to the past maximum length of 90 days. This means short term plans might be a viable option for people looking at alternative solutions.
WE’RE EXPERIENCE CHANGES TO MEDICARE.
And we’re not just talking about changes to the actual red, white, and blue card, we’re talking about changes to the actual plans. Every year, Medicare recipients receive an Annual Notice of Change, it’s it’s important to know what to look for and to have the right reaction to those changes.
FINALLY, WE’RE GRATEFUL TO RECONNECT WITH A LOT OF OLD FRIENDS IN THE FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY.
Rick and the Creative Insurance Solutions team have a deep history of working in the foodservice equipment industry. We’re proud to have reconnected with so many of our old friends in this space. As we’re now members of the MAFSI organization, we look forward to helping foodservice equipment companies find insurance solutions that will help them attract and retain some of the best employees possible.
Thanks again for another great year. On behalf of Rick and the entire Creative Insurance Solutions team, we hope you have a great holiday season.
As always, if you have any questions about how to take advantage of the current open enrollment period or you want to talk about your options after it closes, you can schedule a free assessment with Rick.
